We think we’re great as we are.

We don’t need to be fixed.

But we do need to find new ways of using the strengths we have to support ourselves and our creative communities.

Panel 1

We asked 100 women in our lives – from toddlers to eighty year olds – to share with us one of their favourite books by a woman, as part of our residency at the historic Women’s Library at Compton Verney.

You can download a PDF of the full list – alongside a collage poem by Sarah Salway and a creative non-fiction essay by Viccy Adams – in either colour (easy on the eye, good for the heart) or black and white (specially for those of you who prefer to print then read).

Tell me more…

Spreadsheets & Moxie is led by two creative writers, Sarah Salway and Viccy Adams.

Our R&D takes a rounded approach to professionalism in the creative arts, with a particular focus on women writers. We want to find ways of better supporting sustainable creative practices in a changing world. Get an overview of what we’ve been up to by watching Viccy’s Live Broadcast from the NCLA in March 2017.

Get in touch if you’d like to talk to us about funding or partnering with us for our next steps.

Our R&D in 2016-2017 is supported by public funding from Arts Council England
